The Female Maverick Manifesto

You want more.

More than the career you’ve been pouring into year after year is capable of giving you back. More than the numbness that’s always a byproduct of working toward someone else’s dream. More than the status quo and going through the motions.

You have a voice…ideas…that most people simply aren’t ready to hear. You get polite nods but no action during endless daily meetings where people often talk just to talk. You want to control your own destiny and stop putting it in the hands of others.

We did, too. One of us did it twice.

We started in the corporate world. We moved up quickly, accepting and embracing every bit of responsibility thrown our way. We became the “youngest ever” senior title holders at our firms, and did it all while starting and raising our families.

Our jobs weren’t terrible. But they weren’t great. Our business ideas, on the other hand, were good. Really good. Until the life was sucked out of them through the mind-numbingly slow pace of corporate decision-making.

So, we took our ball and went home. Actually, we took it to a tiny sub-leased space at one of our brother’s firms where we leveraged our good idea into a multimillion-dollar business and began a life-changing journey that ultimately made us enough money to retire early.

You can do what we did and do it even faster.  

Along the way to success, we stepped in more than one pile of SH**. We made a LOT of mistakes. And a few brilliant decisions. We learned critical lessons and, most importantly, we narrowed down the right set of rules that, when faithfully followed, success followed, too.

These rules form the basis of our latest initiative, The Female Maverick. In the coming weeks and months, we will be digging deep into each of them because we want you to make more money than needless mistakes that waste your precious time and talent.
